Security Officer Hospital Patrol Officer

As a Screener in a government healthcare location, you will help monitor access points, support visitor and staff screening procedures, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by greeting employees, visitors, and patients, screening individuals entering the location, and following site-specific policies and procedures.
- Monitor entrances and access points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry or prohibited items from entering the location.
- Conduct screening activities such as visual inspections, bag checks, and use of screening equipment in accordance with post orders and applicable guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate personnel.
- Support daily security-related operations by maintaining post records, communicating clearly with staff and visitors, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hospital-related vaccinations are required.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
