As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet and assist employees and visitors, communicate clearly, and document observations while supporting site operations. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with incident documentation and notifications per post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving zones, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying authorization, directing visitors and vendors, and maintaining visitor and/or delivery logs in accordance with site procedures.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or access control systems as assigned, and report suspicious or unusual activity to supervision and client contacts per protocol.
  • Support traffic flow and pedestrian movement around docks and yard areas by providing directions and reporting hazards and/or obstructions per site policy.
  • Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and critical areas, and report maintenance concerns such as broken locks, lighting outages, and/or unsecured openings.
  • Complete patrol reports, incident reports, and shift logs with clear, timely details, and communicate significant updates during shift handoff.
  • Assist with emergency situations such as medical events, fire alarms, severe weather, and/or evacuation activities as directed by post orders and Allied Universal procedures.
  • Maintain a professional presence, follow site rules and Allied Universal standards, and work collaboratively with client teams and responding public services when required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • - Customer service experience is preferred.
  • - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • - A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
