What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including the business premises and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and/or incidents within the facility.
• Monitor access points and check identification as required by site-specific protocols.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs for all security-related occurrences.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and/or local law enforcement when necessary.
• Follow all protocols related to the carrying and use of assigned firearms and other equipment, adhering to all applicable regulations and procedures.
• Assist in emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, in accordance with established policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must have at least 6 months of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
• An Armed Guard Card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
