As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour
Age Requirement:
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101). This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with legal regulationsExperience Requirement:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service (C110). This experience is essential to ensure that candidates have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and safely.Technical Proficiency:
Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This requirement is crucial as our operations rely heavily on technology for communication, reporting, and data management.Customer Service Experience:
Candidates must have prior customer service experience (B219). This experience is vital for roles that require interaction with clients, customers, or the public, ensuring that our team members can provide exceptional service and support.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate facility personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, providing directions and assistance as needed.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and report security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
