Security Guard Roving Patrol

As a Security Guard Roving Patrol in East Longmeadow, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring reliability, agility, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction while helping create a welcoming environment people can count on.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help identify unusual activity and security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access, observe for maintenance or security-related issues, and report findings through required channels.
- Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by following post orders, completing routine reports, and assisting with tenant and visitor inquiries in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
