Security Officer Communications Console

This role combines strong customer service and clear communication with a visible presence that helps to deter incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
- Monitor communication systems, receive calls for assistance, and coordinate the timely dispatch of personnel to support security-related incidents, service needs, and routine activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting key details and sharing updates with site leadership and/or responding personnel.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records related to calls, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related communications and dispatch functions.
- Support regular and random patrol activity by tracking officer status, relaying post instructions, and communicating conditions observed around the business and perimeter.
Minimum Requirements:
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
