Security Officer Reception Desk

As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Hartford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional front desk location within a financial institution, where you will welcome guests, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. - Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific policies, visitor management procedures, and/or access control protocols appropriate for a financial institution location.
- Monitor lobby and entrance activity, greet employees and visitors, verify credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Support security-related operations by monitoring alarms, cameras, phones, and other front desk systems, and report maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity through proper channels.
- Assist with emergency response activities, evacuation support, and after-hours entry requests in line with location procedures and front desk responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
