Security Officer - Operations Center Clearance Required

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Dispatch in Niskayuna, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a secure environment for all personnel. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and operate dispatch systems to coordinate security-related communications and response activities throughout the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, addressing inquiries, and assisting personnel and visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation of security-related events, dispatch activities, and communications.
• Communicate with Allied Universal personnel and site staff to coordinate security-related operations and support ongoing activities at the location.
• Assist in the implementation of emergency response plans and procedures, helping to facilitate timely and organized responses to incidents.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity by maintaining awareness and monitoring security-related systems and communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement military or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
