As a Security Officer - Healthcare Front Desk in North Smithfield, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk professional within a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact, providing a welcoming presence and exceptional customer service to all visitors and staff. You will monitor entry points, manage access control, and communicate clearly to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff in a professional manner while stationed at the front desk of a healthcare location.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Maintain access control by verifying identification and issuing visitor badges in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and providing directions as needed within the location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual activities, or emergencies to Allied Universal management and/or appropriate site personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
