As a Front Desk Security Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide a professional front-desk presence at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by greeting visitors, delivering customer service, and carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
- Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, following sign-in and badging procedures, and directing authorized guests to appropriate contacts or areas.
- Receive calls, deliveries, and visitor inquiries; maintain accurate logs and communicate relevant information to site personnel in accordance with established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and promptly notifying appropriate personnel.
- Observe front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, unauthorized access attempts, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
