Security Officer - Logistics Patrol

As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol in Stratford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to those on-site. Your presence will support a secure environment for personnel and assets, and you will provide outstanding customer service through clear and courteous communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and to observe conditions, reporting findings as required.
• Monitor access points and observe movement of personnel and goods to help to deter loss or unauthorized access.
• Communicate with site staff and Allied Universal management regarding incidents, observations, and/or any unusual activity.
• Complete security-related logs, reports, and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Remain alert to any hazards or unusual situations that may arise within the logistics and distribution environment and respond according to site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
