Security Officer Full Time Healthcare Patrol Job in Towson, Maryland

As a Security Officer Full Time Healthcare Patrol in Towson, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, behavioral health-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access, and directing visitors, patients, and staff to appropriate locations.
- Maintain detailed, accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
