Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential community location, where you will help monitor entry points, check resident and visitor access, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $21.40 / Hour

- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, and other security-related activity in accordance with location guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with supervisors, property representatives, and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
- Assist with enforcing community rules related to access, parking, amenities, and/or common areas while maintaining a professional presence and courteous communication.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
