Security Officer - Residential Access Control

As a Security Officer - Residential Access Badge in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in access control at a residential community location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also interact with residents and guests, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the residential community, verifying identification and credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors according to site-specific procedures.
• Provide customer service to residents and guests by assisting with inquiries and delivering information about community guidelines and procedures.
• Assist in responding to incidents and critical situations within the community in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and report security-related irregularities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance needs, and any unusual activity observed during shift.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site-specific protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
