As a Security Officer - Residential Gated Community Patrol in Trabuco Canyon, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. You will provide outstanding customer service while assisting residents and visitors. This position requires driving as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain security-related protocols at the residential location.
• Provide customer service by assisting residents, guests, and visitors with access procedures and information as needed.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues when necessary.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and address potential concerns.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
