Security Officer Patrol Representative

As a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Trenton, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In a role grounded in teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture, you will help create a welcoming environment while responding to routine security-related needs with agility and reliability.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and first responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas, assist with access control practices, and document security-related incidents and/or observations according to site procedures.
- Support a professional environment by giving directions, addressing concerns, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
