Armed Security Officer - DOD Secret Clearance

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Troy, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a critical role in helping to deter security-related incidents within an aerospace and defense environment. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and interacting positively with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access or activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions as needed.
• Maintain a visible armed presence while on patrol to help to deter threats or disruptive behavior in an aerospace and defense location.
• Document and report all security-related activities, observations, and incidents according to established procedures.
• Work closely with site management and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting in evacuations and/or lockdowns, in accordance with established protocols.
• Remain alert to surroundings and potential risks, adapting to varying working environments and conditions specific to the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A valid firearms permit is required.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
