Security Officer Entry Screening

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Troy, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry points, and support security-related protocols for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in support of security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other conditions that may impact daily operations.
- Support screening and access-related processes for personnel, guests, and/or contractors while helping to maintain orderly traffic flow at gates, lobbies, and other controlled areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
