As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrols in Troy, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related matters encountered during patrols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related issues, emergencies, and/or procedural updates as necessary.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with directions and information while maintaining a visible security-related presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
