What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and permitting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity within the facility.
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe any unusual conditions.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards in a timely manner as required by Allied Universal and site policies.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including coordinating with site personnel and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
