Security Officer Armed Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Driving Patrol in Tulsa, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with post orders, verifying credentials and reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
- Support emergency and routine operations by preparing incident reports, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and following Allied Universal protocols for armed posts.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
