As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Center in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities throughout a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document relevant details according to site expectations.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols around common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity, assist with access-related issues, and report suspicious behavior to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
- Support mall operations by providing directions, assisting with customer questions, and communicating with management regarding maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or other security-related matters observed during patrols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
