As a Security Officer Correctional Facility Tower Watch in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Professional at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and screening activities while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with established site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Complete accurate reports, logs, and other required documentation related to incidents, observations, and daily activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have X-ray screening experience preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Have access control and badge experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
