Security Officer Full Time Unarmed X Ray Patrol Job in Union City, Georgia

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed X Ray Patrol in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, help deter incidents through a visible presence, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and site personnel while supporting a professional, secure environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
- Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
