Security Officer Patrol with X Ray Duties Job in Union City, Georgia

As a Security Officer Patrol with X Ray Duties in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouses, shipping and receiving areas, parking lots, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, reporting suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Document patrol findings, incidents, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
