Security Officer Patrol Driver

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.25 - $20.25 / Hour

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidance, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor logs as directed by site procedures, and report policy violations, maintenance issues, and other security-related matters.
- Support daily operations by observing truck traffic, deliveries, and/or pedestrian activity, providing directions when needed, and reporting suspicious behavior or hazards to the appropriate site representative.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
