Security Officer - Manufacturing Front Desk

As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Front Desk in Valley City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, you will serve as the first point of contact, greeting and assisting visitors while monitoring entry points to help to deter security-related incidents. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining a welcoming presence, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk, adhering to site-specific policies and procedures.
• Monitor access control at the main entry point, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Respond professionally to incidents and critical situations at the front desk, utilizing problem-solving skills to assist as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences for site management and Allied Universal reporting requirements.
• Assist with emergency response activities as directed, following established protocols for the location.
• Communicate clearly and courteously with all personnel, directing individuals as necessary and/or providing information about on-site protocols.
• Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal team members to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity observed from the front desk position.

Minimum Requirements:

• Prior driving experience is preferred for primarily driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
