- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location.
- Screen visitors, patients, and/or staff entering the location, verify identification or required documentation, and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and communicating with medical personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Monitor entry points and high-traffic areas to help support security-related procedures, visitor management expectations, and orderly movement throughout the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and perimeter locations when requested, noting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations for follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Hospital-required vaccines are required.
- This position may involve working in a hospital morgue environment.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
