As a Security Professional - Tech Site - Morning Shift in Vancouver, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and assisting employees as they enter the location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and providing a professional presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity. You will use technology such as computers or tablets to manage visitor logs and access control systems. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are essential, as you will interact regularly with a diverse group of people. Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors and employees at the front desk, providing a welcoming presence and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Follow site-specific policies and procedures related to security-related activities, including visitor management and package handling.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor logs, incident reports, and other security-related documentation as required by the site.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure and customer-focused environment.
• Remain alert to unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the immediate area of the front desk and report findings to supervisors or management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to provide proof as required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
