As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on-site. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using knowledge of security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as required.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering designated areas, according to site protocols.
• Document all patrol activities, incidents, and observations in detailed written reports as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
• Support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and/or the general public while maintaining awareness of security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
