As a Security Officer - Tech Front Desk Patrol in Vienna, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading technology location, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include managing access control, monitoring entry points, and providing outstanding customer service while addressing security-related concerns. You will be the first point of contact, helping to deter incidents through your presence and professional communication. Pay Rate: $24.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials for visitors and employees as required.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Assist with the management of visitor logs and access control systems to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Communicate professionally with all individuals at the location, providing information and directions as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations and/or other procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a point of contact for security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
