As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols throughout a bustling retail or mall location. Your visible presence and strong communication skills contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests, tenants, and staff. This role is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you monitor different areas, address potential issues, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail or mall location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help maintain a welcoming environment for visitors and staff.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with retail or mall management and Allied Universal team members as needed.
• Assist with crowd control and/or access control during busy periods or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
