As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following Allied Universal guidelines and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related concerns discovered during patrols to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Support access control procedures, monitor entrances and exits, and interact professionally with the public, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain accurate and detailed daily activity logs and reports as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Assist in implementing site-specific instructions and respond to requests from management or law enforcement as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
