As a Security Officer Access Control in Vineland, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges, manage visitor access, and support alarm and access systems. - Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor screening, and/or credential verification for a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check identification and authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site policies.
- Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and/or contractors, and communicate access activity and unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting maintenance issues, access control concerns, and other security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
