Security Officer Patrol Driver

In this role, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support alarm response while remaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will also deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge verification, and other security-related policies at a food and beverage location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, log visitor and/or vendor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted production, warehouse, and office areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
- Support screening and checkpoint activities for incoming personnel, contractors, and/or vehicles, following post orders and established reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, receiving areas, and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and documenting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
