As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a positive environment within a logistics and distribution location. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible to assist staff and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and embody our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork while putting people first.

What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and following site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregularities.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of access control activities and incidents as required by site policy.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters.
• Follow all site-specific policies and emergency response protocols relevant to logistics and distribution environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• X‐Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
