As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution setting, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and controlling entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout the location. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized traffic flow within the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering or leaving the premises, using approved Allied Universal procedures.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by responding to inquiries and assisting with site-specific needs.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining clear communication with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and report irregularities as observed.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and/or suspicious activities according to established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
