As a Security Officer Full Time Credential Validation in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related screening procedures. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Control access to the facility by verifying identification and authorization for employees, contractors, delivery personnel, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and access control systems; document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity as required.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
