As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, supporting a secure environment for all personnel and visitors. Your responsibilities include overseeing access points, verifying credentials, and providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will utilize technology such as computers or tablets and interact with staff and guests, delivering excellent customer service. What You'll Do:

• Assist in managing access control systems to help monitor entry and exit of personnel and visitors at the food and beverage production location.
• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related protocols and site-specific policies set by Allied Universal.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal protocols.
• Support emergency response efforts by assisting with evacuations and/or other procedures as directed by site leadership.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors to support a positive environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a valid Security Professional Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
