Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with integrity and teamwork every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and other security-related support functions across the location.
- Support campus operations during events, class hours, and after-hours activity by maintaining a visible presence and communicating clearly with Allied Universal supervisors and/or client contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
