As a Security Officer Visible Patrol Presence in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support guests, staff, and property operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel environment.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with hotel personnel and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points, observe guest and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
- Support hotel operations by documenting incidents, completing routine reports, and providing courteous assistance during events, peak traffic periods, and/or after-hours activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
