As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. This unarmed role primarily involves patrol duties, with a strong focus on visibility and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report any irregularities.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or situations that may require attention.
• Work in a variety of environments and conditions, adapting to the specific needs of the government setting.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post and is preferred for candidates with related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
