Security Guard - Weekday Shift

As a Security Guard Patrol in Washington, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic food and beverage processing location, where you will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. In this unarmed patrol role, you will bring Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift while putting people first.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or potential security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for staff, visitors, deliveries, and/or vendors in accordance with location procedures, helping to support authorized access and orderly operations.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols and rounds, and follow post instructions for escalation and incident reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
