Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, supporting a welcoming and secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will manage access credentials, monitor entry points and alarm panels, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to document activity while helping to deter incidents through a professional, visible presence. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour
Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing employee badges.Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm system operations, troubleshooting, and response protocols.Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
Proficiency in using computers or tablets is essential. Candidates must be comfortable navigating software applications and performing basicCustomer Service Experience (B219)troubleshooting.
A background in customer service is preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and help prevent unauthorized entry to food and beverage production, storage, and distribution areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facility interiors, exteriors, perimeter areas, loading docks, parking areas, and restricted locations. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
- Assist with protecting product integrity by observing adherence to site entry requirements, reporting irregular conditions, and supporting orderly movement of personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
