Security Officer - Enhanced Mobile

As a Security Officer Enhanced Mobile in Wellington, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with outstanding customer service and communication. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, work with integrity, and contribute through teamwork each day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, access points, amenities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, observe surroundings, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues according to site protocols.
- Support access control and visitor-related procedures, provide directions and assistance as needed, and communicate clearly with residents, guests, and/or property staff regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
