Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Weslaco, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed, driving patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will represent a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and/or surrounding perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or unauthorized access.
- Monitor customer and employee activity, observe for potential theft, disorderly conduct, and/or policy violations, and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
- Document incidents, complete required reports, and support access control, closing procedures, and/or other post orders as directed by Allied Universal and the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
