Security Officer Experienced Patrol

As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol in West Des Moines, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support access awareness and respond to routine concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location, including lobbies, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, helping to identify and report suspicious activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific protocols, helping to support authorized entry and the orderly flow of employees, customers, and deliveries.
- Document observed conditions, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns with accuracy, and assist with following post orders and client-facing service expectations during assigned shifts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
