You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking facilities, entrances, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit for authorized personnel and guests.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
