As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to maintain a secure environment by conducting regular patrols throughout a dynamic healthcare location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you interact with staff, patients, and visitors, delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for mobile patrols as part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
• Document and communicate all security-related incidents and observations according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and wayfinding for patients and visitors when needed.
• Work collaboratively with site staff and local authorities during emergencies or drills, following all site-specific procedures and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
