As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol in East Longmeadow, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position offers the opportunity to be part of an agile and supportive team where people come first. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the facility and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Report observations, incidents, and/or unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and client representatives.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and directional inquiries while maintaining a presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.
• Follow all site-specific protocols, including those related to entry, exit, and security-related processes for personnel and materials.
• Support Allied Universal and client operations by remaining alert and proactive during patrols and while interacting with individuals on site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
